Facilitating economic growth through grassroots networking
The Economic Enrichment NetWorks, (EEN) facilitates the Discovery 9 (D9) Opportunity Teams.
D9 opportunity Teams, provide a low-cost interactive system that serves to promote economic and workforce development at local grassroots levels. Each Discovery 9 team is comprised of nine members: seven unemployed adults whose diversity represents a cross-section of the community, one representative from the local Workforce Center, and one entrepreneurial-type host who is actively engaged in business in the community.
The Economic Enrichment Networks was recognized in Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper’s Economic Blueprint for Colorado as a tool for communities to Develop More local Small business opportunities.
